My name is Golden Light Sayed, and I am Wisdom Keeper of the Ancient Pyramid Knowledge at Giza. My heart, it speaks true about the Three Pyramids, Menkaure, Khufu, Khafre.
I will tell you a story from my life, a story of a snake, a guardian, a friend from long ago. This is not just any story, it is from my soul, from the sands of Giza, where spirits walk with us.
When I was small boy, maybe 8 years old, I worked near the pyramids, running between the stones, helping my father with tourists. One day, next to the temple by Menkaure Pyramid, I saw something strange. A big big snake, maybe 10 feet long, his body shining like metal plate, his head like an old grandfather camel, wise and strong. My heart, it jumped! I was so worried, I ran to my grandfather. “Jiddi,” I said, “what is this snake? I am scared!” He smiled, his eyes holding the knowledge of secrets. “Sayed, habibi, don’t worry. This snake, he is your friend from past life. He is Guardian of Mnkore. If you give him food, he may take it, but then you will not see him again.”
Next day, I took some bread, some dates, but the snake, he was gone. I looked everywhere, but nothing. Two years later, I saw him again, inside one of the small pyramids behind Mnkore. I was 10 now, braver, and I stayed overnight there. In the morning, when the sun touched the stones, I saw him, his eyes were shining like stars in the dark. I felt no fear, only peace, like incense or perfume all around me. From that day, I knew he stays with me, even when I not see him.
When I was 15, in 1990, I was at the top of the Third Pyramid with my teacher, Mr. Frank, may God bless his soul. The wind was soft, the sky so big. Mr. Frank, he pointed to the ground beneath us and said, “Sayed, this snake you talk about, he is Guardian of this place since the first stone of the pyramids was put here. He will forever offer protection here.”
I saw the snake that day, his eyes looking at me, knowing me. Not long after, the government, they found a big granite statue, over 50 tons, near the small pyramids. I think, maybe, the snake wanted us to find it, to show the world the secrets of Mnkore.
Another time, when I was 15, a spiritual sister came to me. She wanted to sleep inside a small pyramid for her soul work. In those days, no tickets, no permits were needed, just the stars and the stones. We went inside one of the small pyramids behind Mnkore, where I had been many times before, but that night, it was different. A presence, like a warm shadow, was with us. I woke before dawn, and there, in the dark, two eyes glowed—ancient, older than the pyramids. It was him, the snake, he had returned. I said nothing to my sister, for her safety, but when we left, I told her. She cried, not from fear, but from joy, saying, “Sayed, we were with a magnificent being.”
This snake, he is not just animal. He is messenger from the Divine, from the stars, guarding the spirit of Giza for thousands of years. I saw him few times more, always near Mnkore, always with those eyes. Since then, I feel him when I do my healing work, when I guide people through the pyramids. He is here, in the air, in the stones.
I have heard him only one time since, he whispered to me while I was with my brother, Paul. We heard him in the darkness of a Pyramid. I began to sing to him, an ancient hymn, a song of the old words that was passed down to me. It lifted my heart to feel him with me again.
I am Golden Light Sayed, and I carry his story, a beautiful moment I love to relive and tell others. May you one day come and feel the magic of this place, and may the snake’s spirit touch your heart, as it touched mine.
