Golden Light Journey Tour Details:

Day 1 - 5th July
Arrival at Cairo
Airport pickup. Transfer to Hotel.
Day 2 - 6th July
Giza Pyramid Plateau
A visit to the Giza Pyramid Plateau, near Cairo, Egypt, creates an unforgettable journey into ancient history, with its iconic monuments set amongst desert sands.
Guided by Sayed Adli whose family carry on their centuries tradition of being Wisdom Keepers of the Pyramids, beginning with a camel ride / horse carriage to the Pyramid Panoramic Point for a stunning view of all nine Giza pyramids against the desert backdrop, ideal for your photos. Visiting the base of each of the Pyramids of Menkaure, Khafre and then onto the Great Pyramid of Khufu, where visitors can admire its massive limestone structure and explore the inner tunnels that lead to the King Chamber. The journey continues down the Khafre Causeway, the area which has received much recent focus based on published radar scans proposing hidden tunnels and chambers beneath the Plateau.
This leads us to the Great Sphinx, next to the Valley Temple, a limestone masterpiece with a pharaoh’s face and lion’s body, perfect for photos and pondering its timeless origins.

GEM Museum
Today we visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) following its official opening of brand new galleries and exhibitions which offers visitors a historic journey through ancient Egypt’s treasures, blending cutting-edge modernity with historic charm. This 50-hectare, $1 billion complex, has become the world’s largest archaeological museum, houses over 100,000 artifacts across 12 galleries, covering 3,000 years of history from the Predynastic to Greco-Roman eras. Highlights include the complete Tutankhamun collection (over 5,000 artifacts, including the iconic golden mask, sarcophagus, and throne), displayed together for the first time, and the Solar Boat, a 4,500-year-old, 44-meter wooden vessel from the base of the Great Pyramid. The Grand Hall features a 3,200-year-old colossal statue of Ramses II, while the Grand Staircase showcases 60 statues, including royal and divine figures. Interactive digital displays, like virtual tomb reconstructions. The museum’s sleek design, with a pyramid-inspired facade, offers views of the Giza Plateau, plus dining, gift shops, and cultural events.
Day 4 - 8th July
Saqqara Pyramid + Sound Healing Hospital
A sacred journey to Saqqara near Cairo, Egypt, offers you a deep dive into ancient Egyptian history with diverse archaeological sites and fewer crowds than Giza. We begin with the Mastaba of Ti with vibrant wall reliefs showing the diversity of daily life enjoyed by the Ancient Egyptians. We travel underground into the tunnel complex of the mysterious Serapeum with its multiple huge stone boxes and show its hidden secrets and technologies. Our journey takes us to the Healing Hospital where we will reveal the methods of Sound Healing used in Ancient times. Next, we step into the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest stepped stone pyramid, where visitors can explore the inner tunnels and chambers of its unique six-tiered design.
Day 5 - 9th July
Cairo Museum and Religious Complex
We will visit the Original 1902 Egyptian Museum in Cairo’s historic heart, Its dimly lit, packed halls exude old-world charm retaining many artifacts too fragile or too large to relocate to the new GEM Museum - a step back in time showcasing the incredible discoveries of early explorers of pre dynastic and Dynastic Ancient Egypt.
A travel to Cairo’s Religious Complex offers visitors a vibrant blend of spiritual heritage, historical depth, and culture. Begin at the Religious Complex in Coptic Cairo, a historic enclave where Christianity, Islam, and Judaism converge. Visit the Hanging Church, a 7th-century Coptic marvel built into Roman fortress walls, showcasing intricate woodwork and icons. Explore the Saints Sergius and Bacchus Church, the original refuge for the Holy Family when they fled from Bethlehem, and the Ben Ezra Synagogue, one of Egypt’s oldest Jewish sites. The Coptic Museum nearby displays artifacts highlighting Egypt’s Christian heritage. Next, head to Islamic Cairo to visit the Mosque of Amr Ibn al-As, Egypt’s first mosque (642 AD), with its serene courtyard.
Day 6 - 10th July
Alexandria
Our journey takes us to Alexandria, Egypt, which offers a vibrant mix of history, culture, and Mediterranean charm. Start at the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century fortress on the coast, offering stunning sea views and a glimpse into Alexandria’s maritime past. Next, explore the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, a modern architectural marvel and cultural hub with museums, exhibitions, and a vast library, evoking the spirit of the ancient Library of Alexandria. Stroll along the Corniche, a scenic waterfront promenade, perfect for soaking in the Mediterranean vibe and enjoying local street food like fresh seafood or shawarma. Visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, a fascinating underground necropolis blending Roman, Greek, and Egyptian styles. Alexandria’s blend of ancient sites, coastal beauty, and lively atmosphere makes it a fascinating and captivating trip.
Day 7 - 11th July
Dahshur / Memphis
We visit the the Bent Pyramid, a striking example of early pyramid experimentation, and the Red Pyramid, Egypt’s first true smooth-sided pyramid, where you can enter its chambers and spend some time experiencing its amazing acoustics and sound healing properties. We will travel to Memphis, the ancient capital, now an open-air museum with highlights like the colossal Statue of Ramses II and a beautifully carved alabaster Sphinx. This showcases Egypt’s architectural evolution, royal legacy, and cultural richness.
Day 8 - 12th July
Departure from Cairo
Departure - Travel and drop off to Airport for Flight to home
We are happy to pick you up and take you safely back to the airport after the tour, because always we care about our people and we would love for you to join with us again, maybe at a future time when you wish to return to Egypt.
